The UK this year and next is giving to Ukraine more than £35 million to fight corruption, on reforms and security. This was reported on Twitter by the British Embassy in Ukraine.
“In the 2018/19 fiscal year, the UK government provides more than £ 35 million to help Ukraine, supporting more than 70 projects in 7 areas: governance and reform, fighting corruption, communication, conflict, stability and security, humanitarian, human rights, education, and culture,” said the message.
British Ambassador to Ukraine Judith Gough said that “Ukraine remains a priority in view of the long-term security, stability, and prosperity of the European continent and is an important destination for the UK.”
We recall that the European Commission provided Ukraine with 500 million euros.
