Eighteen people, including ten in Lithuania, have been detained as part of a large scale international operation against drug trade, human trafficking and money laundering, according to Lithuanian Police. Over half a million Lithuanians at risk of poverty even after 2.3-point drop

Last year, 20.6 percent of the Lithuanian population lived under the poverty risk line, even though the figure was down by 2.3 points compared to 2018. More than half of Lithuanians are satisfied with the government’s handling of the coronavirus crisis, a survey by Vilmorus for BNS has revealed.
