On Tuesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky fired Aivaras Abromavičius, a Lithuanian national, from his position as the head of the country’s defence industry giant Ukroboronprom. After the Maidan revolution in 2014, Abromavičius received a Ukrainian citizenship to serve as the country’s Economy Minister under the former president Petro Poroshenko.
