Statistics: Exports fall for third month running, imports also decrease

Exports fell for the third month in a row in August, according to government agency Statistics Estonia. Imports also fell. Year-on-year (y-o-y), exports fell by 3 percent to August 2019, and imports by 7 percent over the same period. Flu decreases in intensity, but has claimed 11 more lives last week

Last week flu intensity in Latvia dropped by 25.8 percent, still it claimed lives of 11 more people in a week, according to data from the Center for Disease Prevention and Control. Altogether, 48 people have died of flu since the beginning of the flue season. The average age of the flu victims is 65 and they all suffered from chronic illnesses.
