The Lithuanian Health Ministry reported two deaths from Covid-19 on Sunday. In all, 13 people have died from the  coronavirus   in Lithuania, and seven have recovered. A hospital in Klaipėda, Lithuania’s third biggest city, has been closed following reports about safety violations in dealing with  coronavirus   infections. Klaipėda University Hospital is one of the hotspots of Covid-19 where 58 patients with the disease were being treated on Friday. A person who had contracted the  coronavirus   passed away in Panevėžys, northern Lithuania, on Monday morning. It is the 14th confirmed Covid-19-related death in the country. Seventy-five new  coronavirus   cases were diagnosed in Lithuania over Friday, bringing the country’s total count to 771. The number of confirmed cases of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus in Latvia increased to 458 on Thursday, April 2. A further 12 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Latvian territory, raising the total number of cases from 446 on Wednesday to 458 on Thursday.
