The Romantika ferry operated by Tallink arrived in Rīga yesterday evening carrying some 476 Baltic residents from Germany after they were unable to cross into Poland to return to their home country. There are 476 people from Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania on a repatriation ferry operated by Tallink from Saasnitz to Rīga, the Rīga Free Port told LETA news agency March 19. The Romantika ferry, usually serving the Rīga–Stockholm route, left Saasnitz late last night carrying Baltic residents stuck on the Germany–Poland border.
