Number of deaths in workplace accidents in Latvia twice as high as in EU

In Latvia, the number of fatalities resulting from workplace accidents is twice as high as the European Union’s average figure, Renars Lusis, head of the State Labor Inspectorate, said at the launch of a work safety campaign Thursday.
