Verkhovna Rada Chairman Dmitry Razumkov has started an official visit to Latvia, the press service of the Verkhovna Rada has reported.
“Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov has started an official visit to Latvia. During his visit, the Ukrainian parliament speaker will hold talks with President of the Republic of Latvia Egils Levits, Prime Minister of Latvia Krisjanis Karins, and Speaker of the Saeima of Latvia Inara Murniece,” the report reads.
In addition, Razumkov plans to visit the Riga Ukrainian Secondary School and the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia and take part in a flower laying ceremony at the Freedom Monument and the Taras Shevchenko Monument.
Razumkov is on an official visit to Latvia and Estonia on February 24-26, 2020.
He will visit Estonia on February 25-26. He will hold meetings with Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid, President of the Riigikogu Henn Polluaas, Defense Minister Juri Luik and Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu.
Razumkov will also visit the e-Estonia electronic governance center.
