Weather in Latvia next week will be dictated by an active cyclone, which will gradually move from Central Europe past the Baltic Sea to the north. Under influence from the cyclone, warmer masses of air will start flowing into the country, causing air temperature to go above 0° C at night and during day.
Several precipitation zones will pass through Latvia during weekends – mostly wet snow and rain.
Anticyclone activity is expected to increase next week. With that, no major precipitation is expected, the sky will become clear and the sun will shine. Still, colder masses of air will flow into the country, causing air temperature drop to -1° C… -6° C during the day and -8° C… -12° C at night.
