Poroshenko held a meeting with the foreign Ministers of Estonia, Lithuania and Poland

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on Wednesday held a meeting with Ministers of foreign Affairs of Estonia Sven Mixer, Lithuania – Linas Linkevičius and Poland – Jacek Czaputowicz. This was reported on the President’s page in Facebook.

The meeting participants noted the need to strengthen the consolidated international pressure on Russia. The sides discussed the situation in the Azov and Black sea and existing threats from the Russian Federation taking into account committed Nov 2018 an act of aggression by the Russian military against the Ukrainian ships and captured Ukrainian sailors.

“Noted the need to strengthen the consolidated international pressure on Russia to demand the immediate release of Ukrainian prisoners of war sailors, return the seized ships and to ensure freedom of navigation in the Azov and Black sea”, – stated in the message.

Poroshenko expressed his gratitude for the consistent support from Estonia, Lithuania and Poland of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as strong condemnation of Russia’s aggressive actions.
