The evaluation of the work of the Latvian government, despite still being negative, has this May reached its historically highest level, according to the results of the Latvian Barometer study prepared by SKDS pollster.
The data of the study is collected in random interviews at the homes of not less than 1 000 respondents across Latvia covering the ages from 18 to 75.
Last month, the Latvian residents were asked to say, how they currently evaluate the work of the Latvian government.
The total results showed the historically highest appreciation of government work, namely -25 points.
This is the first time, when this index has surpassed the threshold of -28 points since May 2008.
