As the Latvian State Police starts changing the way its cars are painted, it has presented their new colours, which will be on all State Police cars by 2020.
On Monday, June 11, the first repainted car was presented in central Riga as the police and the Latvian Interior Ministry seemed glad to announce a change to brighter tones, leaving the previous 27-year-old design behind.
Developed in collaboration with the Art Academy of Latvia, the new colouring includes elements of blue, light blue, grey and white colour. A traditional Latvian ornament, the sign of the Laima deity, has also been used.
The police telephone number 110 will be printed on cars along with the slogan: «Our work – for your safety».
