NATO’s “Crystal Arrow” exercise started in Latvia

International military exercise “crystal arrow – 2020”, which is attended by 2.5 thousand NATO troops, started on Monday in Latvia, said in a press release of the Ministry of defence of the country.

“International military exercises “crystal arrow-2020″ began in Latvia. They will last until March 13. Attended by about 2.5 thousand soldiers of NATO”, – stated in the press release of the Ministry of defense.

The exercises are held on a military base in Adazi.

“The exercise involved military personnel from Latvia, Albania, Czech Republic, Denmark, Italy, Canada, Montenegro, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain,” – noted in a release.

Latvia is a NATO member since 2004.
