Organisers of big public events in Lithuania will have to register all their attendees and keep their contact details for three weeks.
The rule comes into effect on Tuesday and applies to events of more than 300 people.
The organisers must either sell tickets online, where buyers can fill out registration forms, or manually collect each attendee’s name, phone number and home address.
The personal data can only be used to trace Covid-19 infections and must be deleted after three weeks, according to the rules.
As of September 1, there are no more restrictions of how many people can attend outdoor and indoor events in Lithuania. However, in cases where registering attendees is impracticable, there remains a 300-person cap.
