Three new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Lithuania on Sunday, bringing the country’s total to 12.
All the three new patients have recently returned from abroad where they are thought to have contracted the disease.

One of them has been isolated in Klaipėda University Hospital, while two others have been hospitalised in Vilnius Santara Clinics, the Ministry of Health said.
Three coronavirus diagnoses were reported on Saturday.
The first woman to be treated from the coronavirus in Lithuania was diagnosed on February 28. She has recovered and was recently released home.
On Saturday, the Lithuanian government has decided to put the country under quarantine for two weeks. The measures include closing the country’s borders to most foreigners , banning Lithuanian citizens from leaving and closing most non-essential shops.

The quarantine comes into effect on Monday and will last until March 30.
