The body of 33-year-old Latvian woman, Liga Skromane, is likely to be released by the Kerala police to her kin today. Thereafter, the cremation is expected to take place in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday. A memorial service is planned for Sunday.

Liga’s partner Andrew Jordan and her sister Ilze hope that the police would not mess up again, as they did while tracing the missing woman. They hope that the police would not arrest an innocent in a bid to wrap up the case. While speaking to Mirror on Wednesday morning, Andrew stated that he and the family don’t want an innocent to be framed in the case and demand justice for Liga, who was abducted and murdered.
