Lithuania’s former president Dalia Grybauskaitė, journalist Edmundas Jakilaitis and businessman Robertas Dargis have been named Lithuania’s most influential people, according to a ranking by the Delfi.lt news website published on Wednesday.
The ranking is based on a survey of 1,013 opinion leaders from different fields carried out by the Reitingai magazine.
The top three choices received 715, 687 and 659 votes respectively. Grybauskaitė retained her top position from last year, Jakilaitis rose from the fourth spot and Dargis went up from the sixth position.
Arvydas Sabonis, president of the Lithuanian Basketball federation, and Ramūnas Karbauskis, leader of the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union, also got into the TOP-5 with 650 and 579 votes respectively.
