Estonia’s president to meet with Putin; the two will discuss Baltic security

On Thursday, 18 April, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin will meet with Estonia’s President Kersti Kaljulaid, as reported by Estonian public media ERR.

The two presidents will discuss relations between their nations in trade and culture fields, as well as topics associated with security of Baltic States.

The last president from Estonia who had been to Russia on an official visit was Toomas Hendrik Ilves, who visited St Petersburg in 2011.

Kaljulaid will visit Moscow to open the restored Estonia’s embassy there.
