Estonian MFA issues standstill warning to those travelling to Ukraine by car

The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a warning regarding possible standstills at border crossing points to those travelling to Ukraine by road.

“Due to protest actions, work at various Ukrainian border crossing points is currently disturbed and border crossing foremost to Poland is complicated,” the ministry said on social media.

“According to latest data, greater standstills have been registered at the Korczowa-Krakovets, Medyka-Shehyni and the Dorohusk-Yahodyn border crossing points, but the situation may change quickly,” the ministry added.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is advising to seek information regarding blocked border crossing points from the website of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine before the planned border crossing.
