The key Estonian army base in Tapa, where NATO enhanced Forward Presence battlegroup is housed, is to be expanded with a warehouse complex and infrastructure for 10.1 million euros.

Estonian public broadcaster ERR reports that the development is expected to begin in July and planned to be complete by the end of 2020.

Ando Voogma, Nordecon AS board member commented: «Buildings and facilities projects for the defense forces are always very specific, and the experience gained in military construction will benefit the those working on every site, since they always require demanding and complicated execution».

This is not the company’s first defense contract at Tapa, having already built a catering complex, four barrack houses, a maintenance and training hall and a repair hall and shelters from 2016 to 2018.
