No new coronavirus infections have been confirmed in Lithuania since the first case was reported on February 28. Meanwhile, Latvia has reported three new cases, bringing the country’s total to six.
Six samples were tested for Covid-19 in Lithuania on Sunday, all tested negative, according to the government’s coronavirus communication group. One more test result is expected on Monday.

In all, 260 people have been tested in the country for the coronavirus, according to the Ministry of Health.
However, 5,390 people are under observation after having travelled to regions affected by the coronavirus.
Lithuania’s only confirmed case is a woman who has been isolated in a Šiauliai hospital, northern Lithuania, since February 28 after returning from Verona in northern Italy.
Meanwhile Latvia has confirmed three new coronavirus cases on Monday morning. All of them can be traced to an airBaltic flight from Milan that landed in Riga on March 7.
In all, Latvia has six confirmed cases of Covid-19, while Estonia has 10.
Globally, over 109,000 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus, over 3,500 have died.
