The Latvian airline AirBaltic launched flights between Vilnius and the Croatian resort of Dubrovnik on Monday.
Currently, the airline also operates daily direct flights from the Lithuanian capital to Amsterdam, Berlin, Dublin, London, Oslo, Paris, Riga and Tallinn.
As European countries are gradually resuming air travel, flights from Lithuanian airports to 70 destinations are set to relaunch over July.
Lithuania closed its airspace to passenger flights and halted ferry traffic on April 4 as part of the coronavirus lockdown. Flights began resuming in mid-May.
