Media watchdog finds illegal TV retransmission on 35 websites

In the nine months of this year, the National Electronic Mass Media Council (NEPLP) identified illegal retransmission of television programs in the territory of Latvia without a retransmission permit, NEPLP said October 29 in a release. All 35 homepages have undergone a restriction process in accordance with the Electronic Media Act. Lithuania hits daily record with 950 new cases

Lithuania reported 950 new coronavirus infections on Thursday, the biggest daily increase so far, and six more deaths from Covid-19. Most cases, 350, were reported in Vilnius County, 152 in Kaunas County and 124 in Klaipėda County.
