58 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Latvia October 18, taking the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 3,450. Lithuania’s health authorities confirmed 228 cases on Saturday and 252 on Sunday. With 281 new coronavirus infections confirmed over Thursday, Lithuania reports the sharpest daily increase for the second day in a row. Moreover, two people died of Covid-19 on Thursday.
