Data from Statistics Estonia shows that, by mid-September, 86 percent of grain and 41 percent of potatoes grown in the country have been harvested. Lithuania confirmed 172 new coronavirus cases, the National Public Health Centre (NVSC) reported on Friday morning. It is the biggest daily increase since the start of the pandemic. Last month was one of the warmest Septembers in over half a century, Lithuania’s Hydrometeorological Service said on Friday. The average September temperature was 14.8 degrees Celsius and exceeded the long-term average by 2.6 degrees.
