Producer prices in August stayed same in Latvia

Data of the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) published September 21 show that, compared to July, in August 2020 the level of producer prices in Latvian industry remained the same. Prices of products sold on the domestic market fell by 0.1 %, but prices of exported products grew by 0.2 %. Electronic registration of arrivals will be introduced in Latvia

In Latvia, electronic registration of arrivals, currently taking place in paper format, will be introduced in  about a month,  Interior Ministry representative told Latvian Television September 20. A single new case of COVID-19 was confirmed on September 21, the total in Latvia since the start of the pandemic rising to 1,526 as a result. Seventy new coronavirus cases were reported in Lithuania on Monday morning. Six of the new cases are patients at a hospital in Radviliškis, a town in northern Lithuania.
