Coronavirus update: 92 new cases in Lithuania over weekend

Thirty-nine new coronavirus cases were reported in Lithuania on Sunday, in addition to 53 new infections reported on Saturday, the biggest daily increase since mid-April. One person died of Covid-19 on Saturday. According to the National Public Health Centre (NVSC), the person was in their 60s and had other health conditions. COVID-19 case total for Latvia rises by ten

Latvia said ten new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on September 13, the total since the start of the pandemic now standing at 1,474 on Sunday. No new deaths were recorded, with the fatality toll remaining on 35. The Disease Prevention and Control Center (SPKC) said 1,583 tests had been conducted during the previous 24-hour period.  In total 278,667 tests have been carried out since February 29.
