Latvia said it had detected eight new cases of COVID-19 on July 11, the total number since the start of the pandemic rising to 1,173 on Saturday.  No further fatalities were announced, with the death toll remaining on 30. Lithuania recorded positive net migration once again in June as the number of people arriving in the country from abroad nearly twice exceeded the number of those leaving, figures from the country’s statistics office showed.
