More than half of Lithuanians are satisfied with the government’s handling of the coronavirus crisis, a survey by Vilmorus for BNS has revealed. Carried out on June 5–13, the poll showed that 58.8 percent of Lithuanians were satisfied or rather satisfied with the government’s actions during the pandemic, while 26.4 percent were dissatisfied, and 14.8 percent had no opinion. Lithuania’s Health Ministry has released an updated list of 28 coronavirus-safe countries whose citizens and residents can travel to Lithuania without any restrictions. Latvia recorded no new cases of COVID-19 on June 22 for the second day in a row, the total number of cases remaining at 1,111 on Monday as it had on Sunday and Saturday. Three new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Lithuania over Sunday, bringing the country’s total count to 1,801, the Health Ministry reported on Monday.
