Turnover of retail trade in food products grew by 1.1 %. Turnover of retail trade in non-food products (except for retail sale of automotive fuel) increased by 2.9 %, turnover of retail sale of automotive fuel – reduced by 0.6 %. Lithuania’s government on Monday endorsed the country’s National  Climate   and  Energy   Plan (NECP) for 2021-2030, which is set to be submitted to the European Commission this year. Latvia: New electronic catalogue created for regional food producers

The website  Novadagarša.lv (Taste of the Region) has currently collected contact information for 200 large and small producers, but are planning on regularly updating the list. Lithuania to use EU funds to improve living conditions for refugees

Lithuania has adopted new rules on Monday to allow increased funding for refugee accommodation. Under the new rules, funds from international organisations, NGOs and the EU can now be used to increase the nationally-defined funding thresholds.
