Christmas jog in Vilnius draws thousands

Over 3,600 people took part in the 44th yearly Christmas Run in Vilnius on Sunday. Most participants dressed as Santas, but also as Snowhites, elves, christmas presents, or various film heroes. The runners could either take part in a three, six, or 12 kilometre tracks, while a 300 metre stretch was open for the children. LRT.LT

Most Lithuanians would back the establishment of a state commercial bank, a new survey has revealed. 47.9 percent of respondents said they would be in favour, 20.9 percent were against and 31.3 percent had no opinion, the survey by Vilmorus for BNS showed.
