The Latvian U18 women’s basketball team yesterday defeated Russia 69:62 in the quarterfinals of this year’s European U18 Women’s Basketball Championships. With the win, Latvia also ensured itself a place at next year’s FIBA U19 World Women’s Basketball Championships.
